Asia M&E Engineering

Asia M&E Engineering Sdn Bhd (ASIA M&E) is a provider of quality services in the field of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of biomass, hydro and solar power plants. Armed with skilled expertise and years of experience, (ASIA M&E) strives to be the best in the field of engineering services, operation and maintenance for renewable energy power plants, cogeneration plants and water treatment facilities throughout Malaysia.

ASIA M&E also ventured into unchartered territory by forming a subsidiary, ASIA Renewable EnergySdn Bhd (ASIA RE), a leading renewable energy and power company providing engineering, operations and maintenance, and consultancy services for various power plant projects local and overseas. ASA M&E is a pioneer in the operations and maintenance of grid connected renewable energy power plant.

Currently, ASIA M&E is managing a total of 3 biomass plants in Malaysia with a total installed capacity of 28.4 MWe. With this, ASIA M&E is currently managing more than 50% of the Total Malaysian Renewable Energy Industry Output ( 56 MWe ). By 2020, the Malaysian Government is targeting a total capacity to 2080 MWe. As such , ASIAM&E is planning to increase another 100MWe to its current foothold to ensure continuity and enhanced efficiency over the next 2 years. Moving forward, ASIA M&E is looking at managing its very own Renewable Energy Power Plant with a combination of biomass, solar and wind in the near future.

ASIA M&E has also embarked on yet another journey in the form of attracting a new generation of skilled workers. In collaboration with the Selangor Human Resource Development Centre,  ASIA M&E has managed to provide Skills Development Trainings in Renewable Energy Power Plant Operations for fresh graduates and provide them with job placements within ASIA M&E upon completion of the training. It has been hugely successful and currently, ASIA M&E has a pool of fresh graduates with renewable energy industry skills.
