Steam Boilers

“ STEAM BOILER” means any closed vessel in which for any purpose steam is generated under pressure greater than atmospheric pressure, and includes any economizer used to heat water being feed to the boiler, and any super heater used for heating steam, and any pipes and fittings connected there to.

5.         Feed Pumps.

6.         Main steam Stop Valve.

7.         Feed Check Valve.

8.         Fusible Plug.

9.         Low-water Alarm.

10.       Low-water Fuel cut-Out

11.       Inspectors Test Pressure
            Gauge attachment

12.       Name Plate

13.       Registration Plate

REPAIRS REQUIRED
FMD APPROVAL

1.  Which involves cutting,
 Welding, patching or riveting

2.  Does not include normal maintenance  
     work or boiler tube renewals les than 10%
     of total tubes.

3.  Must be done by qualified welder.
                           A procedure of repair to be forwarded.
